Animation Technologies invited to No. 10Animation Technologies Ltd managing director Ross Kernick today visited No 10 Downing Street to a reception with Cherie Blair having been a contributor to the recent fund raising campaign for the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF). Animation Technologies Ltd provided the PCRF with their main web site at http://www.thepcrf.org as well as the donation site www.giveafewbob.org which features the Bob Monkhouse 'Raised from the dead' video which has had much press coverage.
Ross Kernick Said "it was a pleasure to be involved in such a worthwhile campaign which helps to fund research into prostate cancer an area which is currently under funded and which claims the life of 1 man per hour in Britain today" He went on to say that "it was an honor and a privilege to be invited to the reception particularly since it was the Blairs' last evening at number 10"
Ross Kernick was asked by Mrs Blair if he had had the screening for this cancer and like many of the men at the reception he had not. Ross said afterwards that it would be something that he would be doing. Cherie Blair said that she was proud to be hosting a reception for the contributors of the marketing campaign having hosted similar receptions for charities most Tuesdays for a number of years. Mrs Blair spoke for several minutes to the group thanking them for their individual contributions before bringing a little humor to the evening by stating that she needed to finish some "last minute packing"
